Frequently Asked Questions

We have listed the most common questions below.
If you don’t find your answer here, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to everyone who’s 18 or more and living in Belgium.

If you are not 18, a written authorization from a parent or legal guardian is required.
For your information, most of our projects take place in Belgium, but we are open to foreign applicants.

How does a meeting with Wantedd go?

Currently we mainly work through social networks and virtual meetings.
We are reachable by phone, Zoom, conference call, What’s app, Facebook, Instagram and emails from 09:30 to 17:30 from Monday to Friday.

Where can I get professional pictures and at what cost?

We know several photographers who can take care of your first portfolio.
You can find professional solutions for less than 100 euros.
Do not hesitate to contact us so that we can help you with this.

Is it really necessary to have professional pictures?

Pictures do not have to be taken by a professional photographer.
A friend or a family member can take care of your photos as long as the quality of the framing, the light and your attitude are good.

Be aware that the quality of your pictures will influence the choice of directors and photographers.

How do you work?

We regularly get casting proposals for which we make different profile recommandations to directors, production agencies and photographers.
As soon as one of them is interested in your profile, we will contact you by email and phone. We will need you to be very reactive.
Deadlines are often very short and reactivity is part of our success (as well as yours).

How can I quickly provide you with a recent picture?

You most probably have a smartphone! Just choose a well exposed place, a neutral background and ask a friend to take your picture. A successful framing and a good attitude on the picture will increase your chances of being selected. Avoid the selfie as much as possible because it distorts the face and does not represent you well.

What are the requirements for photos and videos?

When sending photos, prefer the portrait / vertical format.
An image of 1500 pixels high and 1000 pixels wide for a weight of 500Kb is perfect.

For videos, prefer horizontal mode and try to use a handsfree support when filming.
A good lighting and a neutral background are the most important when recording.

Then, upload your photo or video by wetransfer (wetransfer.com) and send the link to info@wantedd.com

Are you on any social network?

Yes we currently have profiles on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.

How can I get in touch quickly?

The email remains the most reliable way to contact us.
Add info@wantedd.com and booker@wantedd.com to your address book.
This will prevent our emails from ending up in your junk folder.

The phone is also an effective way to reach us, +32 485 32 71 51 from 09:30 to 17:30.
Do not leave a voice message, we do not listen to them. Prefer a recall !

Do you use WhatsApp?

Yes, once we have encoded your details in the agency’s phone, it quite possible that we get in touch through this channel. It’s fast and efficient!
You can already add our number +32 485 32 71 51 to your address book.

When will I work?

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee on how much work we will be able to offer you.

Some of our models have worked directly after signing up and others have not yet had this opportunity.
Therefore, uoy should consider this activity as an occasional income stream rather than the beginning of a new career!

What do I do when confirmed for a project?

As soon as you have been confirmed, it is very important that you do not change anything to your look!
No new hair colors, no new haircuts, no beard trimming or shaving,… don’t touch anything!

You have been booked based on a photo or a video casting, it is imperative not to change anything until the shoot is over. Take note of the date and time of the shoot in your agenda and be on time. Plan your trip!

When will I get paid?

Once you have been confirmed for a job, we’ll send you a “release form” to gather all the necessary information to process your payment. We’ll ask you to choose your billing method for services and for fees, to provide us with your account number, address and national registry.
If you are self-employed and can issue an invoice, it is even easier!

The payment date is 60 days end of month after your service and receipt of the release document.

Do I have to report my earnings?

All earnings from your benefits and rights are reported to the tax authorities.
The year following these earnings, we will send a 281.45 – 281.50 form to certify the amounts you have earned.

How to behave on a set?

If you are on the set, it means that you have successfully gone through the castings. Congratulations!
A director or photographer, an advertising agency and a client have all made a choice, developped a strategy and will expect the most professional behavior from you.

Behaviors to follow:

  • Be punctual!
  • Be attentive to the requests of the technical team and the director / photographer.
  • Be positive and play the game.

The agency reputation (as well as yours) depend on your professionalism on a set, and therefore your chances to be casted again!

Behaviors to avoid!

  • I cancel the day before the shoot, sometimes the same day.
  • I am unreachable a few hours before my performance.
  • I leave the set because the day is dragging on!
  • I don’t cooperate and find the production’s suggestions inappropriate.
